Andrew Hughes is an experienced senior executive with strong background in developing, managing and growing business. His experiences include a very successful career with the AGS (Australian Government Solicitor) in a range of senior executive management and legal positions (1999-2007). Previous to this he worked at partnership level in a boutique litigation law firm, as a judge’s associate and as an accountant.

Prior to leaving Canberra in pursuit of warmer weather, Andrew was the National Leader, Client Relationships for AGS. In that role he was responsible for AGS’ national marketing function, driving the business and its employees to be client focussed and deliver outstanding client service. Andrew was accountable for all client relationship management activities, managing and coaching all relationship partners in developing and implementing relationship and business development strategies.

Andrew has a strong background in general management, applying an open and inclusive approach to build teamwork and commitment among team members.

Throughout his career he has been involved in creating profitable, motivated and committed teams, producing the highest levels of performance from both himself and his team.

Andrew has significant experience and success in developing and delivering training courses, both for internal and client purposes. Andrew has delivered training for clients and colleagues in all state capitals.

Andrew holds the following qualifications; Grad Dip (Legal Studies)
LLM (International Law), NLP Certification, AGSM Gen Manager Program.
